TeaLu Tea House Ecuador

TeaLu Tea House began quietly on a mountaintop in Ecuador.

I live and work here, surrounded by sun, wind, mist, and long stretches of silence, moving gently with the rhythm of the mountain.

 

Hi, I'm Maya, a potter, and tea has long been my companion — not only as a drink, but as a way of returning to myself.

 

Recently, I began planting a small tea garden here on the mountain. It is still young — just a beginning. Small tea seedlings learning to root in Andean soil, growing under the open sky.

This tea garden will take years to mature, and I am in no hurry. I am growing with it.

 

TeaLu Tea House is where these paths meet: organic tea and handmade teaware.

Each cup and bowl is shaped slowly by hand in my studio.

Each tea I offer is chosen with care — honest, clean, and connected to the land where it grows.

For now, the teaware comes first. The tea will follow after I visit Korea.

 

This space is built the way tea grows — with patience, season by season.
